Begun in 2000, this Manhattan Cable show featured video curated by DINO SORBELLO. It featured “Psychedelic Rock, past present and future, with nature footage too”.
The show then branched out to other cable markets. For awhile it was also viewable in Brooklyn and Queens NYC, and later on Seattle and parts of Canada! It continued until 2025, and traces can still be detected from time to time on the now nearly defunct Public Access.
In those years, before yootoob, finding many of these videos was very difficult, usually procured from bootleg VHS tapes and DVDs sold at record shows, mail-order catalogs. There is also much footage created by Dino himself. Really rare live stuff he shot himself and music videos he shot and directed for his various music projects, and those of others.
And there’s nature footage too.
There are about 280 half-hour episodes “all killer no filler” which adds up to 140 hours…! A few almost randomly selected episodes are available to see here.
