abc TRIPWAVE means “a band called” TRIPWAVE and that’s what that means. It had DINO SORBELLO in it on guitars and DANNY FASTFINGERS on keys and sitars and SCOTT PRATO on the suave bass and the of course inimitable JOE CHONTO on jazz drumset.

While hitting some loft parties and a few of the local stops in Bkln and Downtown NYC during 2004, they managed to put together their 6-song CD. Once they discovered having their own club at Giorgio Gomelskys’ Red Door (it used to be the famous Green Door but one day he painted the door red) that became their venue of choice and they proceeded to develop an actual repeating psychedelic theme party there.

The dimension they were existing in then has been since subsumed by the dimension we are now currently existing in, that’s all. They’re out there somewhere, most likely.
